Clean Energy Seminar – StudentEvent Starts on October 3, 2021

ReHyCaRe is back with a new event! We are very excited to announce our very first iteration of the Clean Energy Seminar: Student Event on 3rd October, Sunday at 9 pm (Dhaka time). The Clean Energy Seminar: Student Event is directed to the current undergraduates, who aspire to excel in research and are seeking career advice. Our speaker and panellists will help the students navigate themselves about the research and career aspect of the energy sector. This event will be joined by current researchers and experts in their respective fields, sharing the exciting cutting-edge research in bioenergy.
It is our pleasure to introduce the speaker for the event – Tahmid Islam! Tahmid Islam is a third-year PhD student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2019. Currently, he is working on mild hydrothermal preprocessing (MHP) to upgrade high ash lignocellulosic biomass into low ash, energy dense hydrochar. His research interests include hydrothermal carbonization, deep eutectic solvent, pelletization, waste valorization and adsorption. Previously, he published 3 peer-reviewed journals and presented in 8 local and international conferences (AIChE, ASABE, FASABE, FAS). He is the recipient of 2021 outstanding graduate student presenter at the Florida Academy of Science. We will also be joined by Dr. Nepu Saha, currently, a postdoctoral researcher at Idaho National Laboratory in the USA, as our honoured discussant in the event.Register here for the Clean Energy Seminar:
